Article Submitted by: Emily Tarala, Jorden Hendrickson, Kristy Williamson and Landon Kvien.

With being an hour ahead of our normal time, teams members are having to get use to the time difference, but that didn’t stop the team from exploring Detroit! Several team members got to walk along the Detroit River and look at the beautiful skyline of Canada! We also took a tour of a little bit of Detroit on the people mover. Team members also got the chance to explore the Cobo Center and buy FIRST Clothing and some even got to see Woodie Flowers and have a picture taken with him! Fun was had by all when we stopped by the Innovation fair. There was a bunch of neat things to see and swag to be had.
We had slight difficulties with frame perimeter during our Robot inspection but we were able to overcome them. The rest of the day proceeded well and we were able to win our practice match and also spend some time on the practice field to work on our  autonomous modes.
