Our earliest morning yet was Saturday. We left the hotel at 6:00am in order to arrive at the Cobo Center before the award ceremony and alliance selection at 7:30am. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any awards, but we did get chosen during the alliance selection. We accepted team 1712 out of Ardmore, Pennsylvania’s offer to join their #6 ranked alliance. We then asked team 5567 from Milan, Michigan and team 1506 from Flint, Michigan to complete our alliance. After two tough matches we lost out in the quarterfinals. Following our last matches, we packed up our pit and gathered in the stands to enjoy the final alliances from each subdivision battle it out in the championship division: Einstein. We ended our day by hopping on the bus to start our long travel home.
